Our Story
A registered non-profit drag racing society serving Interior BC since 2016. Built from the ground up by drivers who wanted a legitimate outlet to go fast.
i660 was created to give Interior BC's car community a legitimate, safe, and organized place to compete. Street racing is dangerous and illegal — we built a real alternative.
Every decision we make is in service of the drivers, families, and fans who show up. We're racers, not a corporation.
All events run on closed, legal venues with safety marshals, tech inspection, and standardized rules to keep everyone protected.
We mentor new drivers, welcome all classes, and work to expand drag racing access across the BC Interior.
i660 forms as a grassroots collective of Interior BC drivers frustrated with a lack of legal racing options. First informal runway event organized in the Kamloops area.
i660 officially registers as a non-profit society under BC law, establishing formal governance, membership, and transparent prize fund management.
Record attendance. Extended the competition calendar to multiple events per season. First Diamond-class invitational with a $10,000 purse.
Secured a landmark venue agreement with Lillooet Airport for a dedicated runway event — one of the longest legal drag surfaces available to BC enthusiasts.
May 24–25 at Lillooet Airport Runway. Largest prize purse in i660 history. Open registration, multiple classes, and a growing sponsor roster.
A small, dedicated crew of volunteers who love the sport. No salaries, no overhead — just passion for clean, competitive drag racing.
Oversees venue logistics, event scheduling, and day-of operations. Has been running events since the first season.
Manages vehicle tech inspection, class eligibility rulings, and on-track safety protocols at every event.
Handles photography, video recap content, Instagram, and sponsor media deliverables.
